Unfortunately VS 2010 seems slow and clunky especially with WPF designers, and debugging.
Definately a lot slower than VS 2008 but is still beta so hopefully will improve before release.
Its like all the effort has gone into design changes rather than improvements. A bit like Windows 7 actually.
Still no option to support previous versions, ie VS 2008, VS 2005 with solution and project files, where the only real difference in format is changing the header version with a text editor to make solutions readable with different versions of visual studio.
Not everyone can afford to replace multiple versions of tools every couple of years, when benefits are negligible!
Disappointing at this stage!

@Manikandan: hmmm.. maybe it was just your bad luck because installing it in Windows 7 RC is a supported scenario so it should have worked without any problems. Btw I didnt install it in 7. I installed it under Vista Mode in 7 and it worked flawlessly.

I am really thankful to u for sharing the screenshots of visual studio 2010. today i downloaded the visual studio 2010 professional and tried to install it in my windows 7 RC.while the installation was running, it asked for a system restart and after restarting, my entire system's theme had been changed to a windows 2000 style and the installation was also not continued.then i made a system restore and brought back my system to a normal state...a very bad day for me with VS 2010.what to do now,how to install it,did u faced any problems like this? i am eagerly looking forward for ur reply.
Thanks.
