The Apple Watch Apps New Owners Should Download First [List]

The Apple Watch is finally shipping out to customers who had pre-ordered it, and if you happen to be one of the lucky few who had their device delivered this Friday, here’s a run-down of some of the best and must-have apps you can download for your first ever Apple wearable device.

Following the start of the shipments today, the Apple Watch App Store also went live with a host of social, health, fitness, and news related apps. This App Store can be found in the Apple Watch app that Apple bundled with iOS 8.2.

There are more than 3,000 apps available on day one alone and many of them are big-name titles. This list which we are featuring today is intended to help you get the most of your Apple Watch experience on first day.

Apparently, a few apps have some bugs present in them at the moment, but hopefully these are issues that will be sorted out eventually in the near future as more and more feedback is collected. After all, today does mark day one for all these apps that developers haven’t really had time to test on the real Watch hardware.
