2nd-Gen Moto 360 2 (2015) Leaks In The Wild [Photos]

With all of the attention lavished on the Apple Watch over the last few months, it is easy to forget that there are other smartwatches on the market, and it looks like there could be a new one sooner rather than later. Rumors of a new Moto 360 2 (2015) have been abound for a good while now, and new leaked photos purporting to be of the unannounced wearable have now started to appear.

Two new supposed sightings have resulted in photos of what it is believed is Motorola’s 2015 2nd-generation Moto 360 Android Wear-based smartwatch, with some of the rumored traits in full effect.

The first photo to appear today shows a woman wearing what appears to be a gold colored Moto 360 with a red wrist strap, similar to one shown in a recently leaked video of the device. Sadly that is about all that can be seen from the photo, though it is indeed enough to build the concensus that this isn’t a current Moto 360 that we are seeing here.

Following that photo, two more cropepd up that were apparently taken on a train in Chicago. The watch, featuring a button in the 2 o’clock position as rumored as well as the standard watch strap lugs believed to be part of the new Moto 360 are in attendance, again fueling the fire that this is an unannounced 2nd-gen Moto 360 that has been spotted out in the wild.

The bad news here, if this is indeed the 2015 Moto 360, is that the original’s flat tire effect is still around, meaning a bottom portion of the screen is unusable to the display. It’s something that plagued the origial Moto 360, and it looks like the new model will suffer the same fate.

We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more 2015 Moto 360 news, and if you come across one in the wild yourself, be sure to send us any snaps you manage to take!
